VISION

The Delta Sigma colony of Sigma Chi Believes in the concrete values professed in the Jordan Standard. We will strive to be the leaders of the Greek Community at URI by being a group of true gentlemen. We will leave a legacy that redefines the perception of a fraternity and strengthen the campus and community.

NEWS

Philanthropy events have been going AMAZING! We have helped out in the Gloria Gemma Flames of Hope Event, a walk for the American Suicide Prevention Foundation, and a bowl-a-thon to benefit local food pantries in the making of thanksgiving baskets for those less fortunate.
Congratulations to the new pledge class of the Delta Sigma Chi colony! We gave out bids on October 2nd and now have a brand new pledge class of 10 for the Fall semester!
The Alumni Scholarship Dinner was held on Sept. 30th. Several applicants entered and two were picked. First place was a $1,000 scholarship and Runner up was a $500 scholarship. Many young men interested in joining also got the chance to interact with Alumni and see what Sigma Chi has been in the past.

Fall Semester 2009 is HERE!

The brothers started the school year by helping the freshmen move in to their dorms. We are now almost done with the month of September and the brothers have hosted many successful recruitment events. All the brothers included members at Sigma Chi International Headquarters are very excited with the way things are going right now and are very excited about the future.

A group of 5 men set out in Spring of 2008 to start a new fraternity. . . . this is their success thus far. (see 'About Us' for more information)
